In his 2011 McTaggart lecture, Eric Schmidt, the former CEO of Google, lamented that the UK has "stopped nurturing its polymaths", and encouraged us to "bring art and science back together ... Lewis Carroll didn't just write one of the classic fairytales, he was also a mathematics tutor at Oxford."
Whilst I make no claim to literary greatness, I am proud to be a polymath. Being a musician makes me a better techie, and vice versa.
I've been privileged in my career to gain significant experience in a huge variety of areas, and take great pleasure in being able to offer an unusually broad range of skills. Many of the projects that I have enjoyed most have been those that use combinations of my abilities.
